What is Sanctura?
Sanctura eases spasms in the bladder.Sanctura is a treatment for the symptoms of an overactive bladder, such as urinary incontinence that is frequent and urgent.Sanctura is also employed for other purposes that are not covered in this guideline.
Warnings
Sanctura is not recommended for use. Before taking Sanctura, consult your physician about whether you are a regular user of other medications that cause you to be sleepy (such as allergy or cold medication, sedatives, opioid pain medication, sleeping medication, as well as muscle relaxers and medications for depression, seizures, and anxiety). These can cause somnolence caused by trospium.
Prior to use this drug
Sanctura is not recommended for you in the event that you are allergic to trospium or suffer from:

How to take Sanctura?

Trospium with extended release (Sanctura XR) should be taken each day, at least an hour prior to a meal. Don't crush, chew on, or break the extended-release capsule. Inhale it completely. Opening or breaking the pill can cause too much of the drug to be released in a single dose.
Keep Sanctura at room temperature, far from heat and moisture.
What happens if I miss the dose?
The missed dose should be taken one hour prior to eating your meal. Don't take your missed dosage if you are close to your next appointment. Do not take any additional medication to fill in the dose that was missed.

Overdose symptoms can be extreme forms of a few of the side effects described in this guideline for medication.
What should be avoided?

Side effects of Sanctura

Stop taking Sanctura and contact your doctor right away when you experience serious side effects, for example:
- Severe stomach pain or constipation;
- Severe constipation;
- Urinating less frequently than normal or none at all;
- Confusion, hallucinations.
Less significant Sanctura adverse effects could be:
- Dry throat or mouth;
- Headache;
- Mild constipation, but not severe;
- Upset stomach gas, upset stomach;
- Dizziness, drowsiness,
- Dry eyes.

Interaction with other drugs
