What is Fordagel?

Fordagel is a combination of products that are used to temporarily relieve minor pain due to arthritis or muscle cramps. Fordagel can be used in other ways not mentioned in this guide.

Side effects of Fordagel

If you experience any of the following symptoms of an allergic reaction, seek immediate medical attention: hives, difficulty breathing, swelling of your lips, face, tongue, or throat. If you experience severe pain, burning, stinging, or irritation where this medicine has been applied, as well as swelling, skin rash, and blistering, stop using the medicine immediately and contact your doctor. Before you take this drug

Fordagel should not be used if you have an allergy to it or other salicylates, such as Nuprin Backache Caplet (also known as Nuprin Backache Caplet), Kaopectate (also known as KneeRelief), Pamprin Cramp Formula (also called Pamprin Cramp Formula), Pepto-Bismol Tricosal Trilisate, and others. If you are allergic to latex, the skin patch could be harmful. You can ask your pharmacist or doctor if it is safe to use the skin patch.

If you suffer from:

  • Heart Disease
  • Stomach bleeding;
  • Redness in the area of minor pain
  • Kidney disease is a serious condition.

Consult a doctor or a pharmacist before administering this medication to a child. Consult your doctor before taking this medication if you're pregnant or nursing. If you are breastfeeding, take caution in applying this medication directly to the nipple region.

How to take Fordagel?

Follow the instructions on the label or those prescribed by your physician. This medicine is usually applied as a cream or gel to the affected area three or four times per day. Fordagel is applied to dry, clean skin. Wear the Fordagel patch for up to eight hours. Wear the patch for no more than three days. Do not use more than one at a given time, unless you are told by your doctor. Take it only by mouth. Topical medicines are only to be used on the skin. Apply to wounds that are open, sunburned, or windburned. Do not use it on dry, irritated, or sunburned skin. If this medicine accidentally gets into your eyes or mouth, rinse with water. Please read and follow all instructions for use that come with your medication. If you don't understand the instructions, ask for clarification from either your doctor or pharmacist. After applying the medicine, wash your hands.

Avoid covering the treated skin with a heating pad or a bandage. Camphor and menthol products may produce an uncomfortable burning or cooling sensation upon first use, however this should quickly dissipate with continued usage. If this sensation becomes severe, wash with warm soapy water immediately for relief.

This medicine can cause serious side effects. If you experience:

  • Symptoms that persist for more than 7 days
  • Symptoms that disappear and then return
  • Minor pain and redness where the medication was applied.
  • Your condition gets worse.

Store away from moisture or heat at room temperature. Store away from direct sunlight.

What happens if I miss the dose?

Fordagel can be used as needed. There is no daily schedule for Fordagel. Use the product only as directed on the package.

What happens if I overdose?

What should be avoided?

Avoid getting this medication into your eyes, nose or mouth by rinsing with water immediately if this occurs. Consumption of alcohol increases the risk of stomach bleeding. Do not use other topical pain relievers unless you are told to by your doctor.
