What is Alyq?

Cialis is a brand of Viagra. Cialis is a version of Tadalafil utilised by men to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) and signs of benign prostatic hypertrophy (enlarged prostate).Adcirca Alyq and Adcirca Alyq are prescribed to both genders to treat the condition of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) and to increase exercise capacity.Don't take Cialis to treat erectile dysfunction when you are using Adcirca or Alyq to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension.Alyq could also be used to treat conditions not mentioned in this guideline for medication.

Side effects of Alyq

Contact a medical professional immediately in the event that you exhibit symptoms that indicate an allergy, such as asthma, hives, or swelling of your lips, face, and throat.

Alyq could cause severe adverse effects. Stop taking Alyq and contact your physician immediately in the event that you experience:

  • Heart attack symptoms include chest pressure or pain that spreads to your shoulder or jaw, nausea, and sweating.
  • Vision changes or sudden vision loss;
  • Hearing loss, ringing in the ears, and sudden deafness
  • An erection may be painful or last for more than 4 hours (prolonged sexual activity can cause damage to the penis).

Stop and seek medical attention immediately in case you are experiencing stomach pain, nausea, or dizziness while having sex. You could be experiencing a potentially life-threatening adverse reaction.

Common adverse consequences of Alyq could include:

  • Headache;
  • Flushing (warmth of redness or tingling sensation);
  • Nausea, upset stomach;
  • Nasal stuffiness, runny nose,
  • Muscles painful, back pain, or discomfort in your arms or legs, as well as your back.

Warnings

The combination of Alyq with other medications can result in an abrupt and significant drop in blood pressure.Do not consume Alyq when you are also taking Riociguat or any nitrate drugs like Nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, or recreational substances like "poppers."Take immediate medical assistance. Prior to use this drug

Alyq is not a good choice if you have an allergy to it

  • If you're taking other medications to treat hypertension in the pulmonary artery, for example, the riociguat (Adempas),

Do not use Alyq when you are taking a nitrate medication to treat the chest or for heart conditions. This includes nitroglycerin isosorbide dinitrate and mononitrate of isosorbide. Nitrates also occur in a variety of recreational drugs, like amyl nitrate butyl-nitrate, also known as nitrite ("poppers"). The combination of this medication with a nitrate medication could cause an immediate and severe drop in blood pressure.A little Alyq may remain inside your bloodstream for two or more days following each dose (longer if you suffer from kidney or liver disease). Beware of nitrates during this period.

Inform your doctor if you were ever diagnosed with:

  • Heart issues (chest pain, cardiac rhythm problems, heart failure);
  • A heart attack (or stroke);
  • Excessive blood pressure, high blood pressure,
  • The liver condition;
  • Renal disease (or if you're on dialysis);
  • Retinitis pigmentosa (a genetic condition that affects the eyes);
  • Blindness of one or both eyes
  • Hearing issues;
  • Blood circulation issues;
  • A blood cell disorder such as sickle cell anaemia, multiple myeloma, or leukaemia
  • The pulmonary veno-occlusive disorder (pvod);
  • A physical defect that affects the penis (such as peyronie's disease) or an erection that lasts longer than 4 hours
  • A stomach ulcer
  • Health issues that make sexual activity risky.

A few people who take Alyq have experienced a sudden loss of vision. A majority of these patients had already suffered from eye problems or from diabetes or other medical conditions that can cause blood vessels to become damaged within the eye. It's not certain whether this medicine can cause the loss of vision.Do not begin and/or stop using Alyq during your pregnancy without a physician's guidance. Having pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) during pregnancy can result in heart failure, stroke, heart attack, or other medical issues for both the mother and baby. Talk to your doctor when you discover that you are pregnant.It might not be safe to breastfeed when using Alyq. Consult your physician regarding any potential risks.Cialis cannot be used as recommended for women.Alyq is not allowed to be used for anyone who is younger than 18 years old.

How to take Alyq?

Follow the directions on the prescription label and also read all medication guides or instructions sheets. Make sure you use the medication exactly as prescribed.If you are taking Adcirca as well as Alyq, you might need two tablets to take a full dose. Intake both tablets, one following the other. Don't split the dose.Take Cialis prior to sexual activities, but not more than a day. Cialis will help you achieve an erection after sexual stimulation takes place. What happens if I miss the dose?

Because Cialis is prescribed as needed, you are unlikely to take a dose that you don't need.If you have missed a dosage of Adcirca or Alyq Take the medication promptly, but do not miss any missed dosages if it's nearing the time for the next dose. Don't do two doses at the same time.

What should be avoided?

Do not drink alcohol. This can increase the chance of becoming dizzy and falling asleep.Grapefruit could be in contact with Alyq and can cause undesirable adverse effects. Beware of the use of grapefruit-based products.

Interaction with other drugs

Do not use Cialis alongside similar medications like avanafil (Stendra), sildenafil (Viagra), or Vardenafil (Levitra). Discuss with your doctor the other medications you are taking to treat erectile dysfunction.

Discuss other medicines with  your doctor that you are taking regularly:

  • medications for treating erectile dysfunction or hypertension of the pulmonary artery;
  • medicines for treating the problem of high blood pressure or a prostate problem;
  • an antibiotic like clarithromycin, erythromycin, Rifampin, or telithromycin
  • antifungal medication like ketoconazole or itraconazole;
  • medicines for treating the symptoms of HIV/AIDS, like the drug ritonavir and other medications;
  • seizure medication like medication for seizures such as carbamazepine as well as phenytoin.
